Washington OK To Practice, Foxworth Tears ACL

By Jesse Jones

Just as one cornerback gets the clear to practice, another goes down for the Baltimore Ravens.

Fabian Washington, who had a season-ending ACL tear last year, came into camp on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list.  Yesterday, he was taken off and is now ready for practice.  But there’s always a catch isn’t there.

And now for the terrible news.  Starting corner Domonique Foxworth tore his ACL Thursday in an orientation practice.  He is out for the year.  Newly signed veteran Walt Harris will need to step up in Foxworth’s place while Lardarius Webb is still recovering from his ACL injury last season and GM Ozzie Newsome finds another veteran to sign.
